Just finished reading....

Deadly Advice by Roberta Isleib.

The first in the Advice Column mysteries introduces us to Dr. Rebecca Butterman. A clinical psychologist, she also writes an advice column for a young women's magazine. When her next-door-neighbour, Madeline is found dead of an apparent suicide, Rebecca wonders if she should have noticed that the young woman was in distress. When Madeline's mother asks Rebecca to prove that her daughter did not committ suicide, Rebecca originally thinks that it will be a good way to gain closure for herself.

But no one wants to talk about Madeline, and when strange things start happening, Rebecca decides to leave the job to the police.

Enjoyable story with a likeable protagonist. Second book in the series, Preaching to the Corpse is due in early December.
