Yesterday, we went to the Peabody Essex Museum, which had an exhibit of photographs by Ansel Adams. They also have on display a Chinese house that was taken apart, packed, sent overseas, and then reassembled on the PEM site.
After we saw the house and the Adams exhibit, we went for lunch, after which we went back to the museum and saw a couple of their other permanent displays.
After resting in our room for a while, we walked to the waterfront for dinner. We made it an early night because we were still tired from the trip on
Wednesday.
This is outside a Catholic Church in Salem.
Today we drove up the coast to Gloucester. We did a tour of the Maritime Museum there, then visited the Rocky Neck Art Colony.
After that, we returned to Salem where we had a late lunch and then toured The House of Seven Gables (photos from there tomorrow, I hope!)

Do you have a link that would show the route of your cruise and where you stop? It sounds like a fabulous trip.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't cut and paste it, but it's Holland America's Maasdam, 7-day Canada/New England Discovery cruise.
