Lest We Forget

Princess Patricia of Connaught, the original Colonel-in-Chief of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry designed and made their regimental flag, known as the Ric-a-Dam-Doo (reportedly from the Gaelic for "cloth of your mother").

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the regiment, the current Colonel-in-Chief, the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson commissioned the following song, written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.  The song is performed by Homefire (the wives of the Princess Patricia’s Regiment) and features two principal singers, Edmonton-based Brittany Hancock and Angela Larson.

The Princess Pat's Infantry is based in my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.
